An owner is the account holder and owner to the property. There may be more than one owner. Owners are responsible for the property’s SA Water account and bills.
An authorised person is someone who has been authorised by the property owner/'s to act on their behalf to help manage their account. An authorised person is requested through SA Water and a record of this authorisation exists with SA Water.
If you need to be authorised to discuss the account or receive bill copies on behalf of the owner please have the owner contact customer care on 1300 729 283 so they can provide verbal authorisation. If you hold Power of Attorney then documents can also be emailed to customercare@sawater.com.au.
