How long will my connection application and project take to complete?
The time it takes to complete your connection project depends on several factors, such as the type of connection and the specific conditions at your site. Each project is unique, so timeframes and costs can vary.
Here’s what to expect:
- Once we receive your completed application, we aim to assess and send you an invoice within 20 business days.
- After you pay your invoice, we’ll work to complete your connection within the following timeframes:
- Standard water connection: 25 business days
- Non-standard water connection: 35 business days
- Standard sewerage connection: 30 business days
- Non-standard sewerage connection: 50 business days
For connections that require extensions or upgrades to the supply network, the construction phase may take longer. If this applies to your project, we’ll include the expected timeframe in your approval letter.
