- Identify where a connection point may exist on your property.
- Measure the distance between your property and the available service.
Step 2. Identify connection type and size
The type and size of your connection depend on several factors, including your property’s location, where the connection will be constructed, and whether it’s for water or wastewater services.
Step 3. Review the site for obstructions and hazards
Before applying, inspect your site for any potential challenges like trees, rocks, driveways, or traffic management needs that may affect the connection process. You will need to tell us about these in your application.
Step 4. Review additional requirements
Some connections require extra documentation. This helps us evaluate your needs accurately and design a solution that meets Australian standards. You may need to provide additional information if your property:

- Requires fire connections.
