How do I request a refund?

If you have a credit on your account, we suggest leaving it there to reduce the amount on your next bill. However, if you prefer to request a refund, you can do so easily by completing the refund request in mySAWater.

How to request a refund in mySAWater

  • If you have a credit balance, you will see the option “Request a refund” on the property that is in credit.  
    Complete any necessary security verification steps.
  • Fill out the refund form, selecting your original payment method.
  • You may need to provide proof of payment, which can be attached to the refund form.

We attempt to return payments to the same method you made your payment. If we can’t, we will be in touch to organise an alternative refund option.
