How do I add someone as a contact on my account?
Adding an authorised contact
Adding an authorised contact to your account allows someone to make enquiries and decisions on your behalf. However, this person will not be financially responsible for the account. You can add a contact by calling us or using our general enquiry webform.
Adding a power of attorney
If you need to be added to someone’s account to make enquiries or changes on their behalf and they are unable to contact SA Water, you’ll need to provide us with power of attorney (POA) documents. These documents will confirm your status as the account holder’s POA.
Once we have verified the documents, our customer care team will add you to the account as the authorised POA and notify you. You can submit these documents through our general enquiry webform.
