Wirrina Cove Reservoir

Wirrina Cove Reservoir supplies the drinking water network to the Fleurieu Peninsula and provides irrigation to public spaces - the golf course, gardens and parks.

In 2019, we took responsibility for the reservoir from the local council.

About Wirrina Cove reservoir

The reservoir pumps water to a nearby treatment plant before flowing to the community as a drinking water supply. It also irrigates main local tourist attractions, Wirrina Cove Holiday Park and New Terry Hotel/Golf Resort.

This reservoir is fed from a catchment at its southern end.

Capacity: 0.468 gigalitres
