Wirrina Cove Reservoir
Wirrina Cove Reservoir
The Wirrina Cove Reservoir supplies the Wirrina Cove drinking water network on the Fleurieu Peninsula, and also irrigates local public spaces such as the golf course, gardens and parks.
We took on responsibility for the reservoir from the local council in 2019. It provides two of the main local tourism operations with water for irrigation – the Wirrina Cove Holiday Park and the New Terry Hotel and Golf Resort – and pumps water to a nearby treatment plant before flowing to the community as their drinking water supply.
This reservoir is fed from a catchment at its southern end.
Capacity: 0.468 gigalitres
