Where is recycled water available?
We currently manage recycled water supply in the following areas:
- Adelaide's parklands
- Bowden
- Seaford Meadows and Seaford Heights
- Mawson Lakes
- Virginia’s market gardeners: the Virginia Pipeline Scheme uses recycled water from the Bolivar Wastewater Treatment Plant to supply growers in the Virginia area north of Adelaide.
Recycled water is delivered through a separate system using purple pipes. If your property receives recycled water, you will have a separate purple water meter to distinguish it from your drinking water supply and ensure there is no cross-connection.
