What to do if I have no water 22?
We understand how inconvenient it is to be without water. To help make any water interruptions easier, here are a few things you can try:
- Check a multiple taps inside and outside your home
If only some taps aren't working, it could be an isolated issue. In this case, contacting a plumber might help.
- Ensure your water meter isn’t turned off.
It might seem unusual but it's worth double-checking. Water meters are typically found in a few common areas, often in the front of a property near the boundary with the street, driveway, or nearby pathways.
- Check our Faults and Outages map
Check the map to see if there's a water outage in your area. Simply search using your property address to check for planned or unplanned outages.
If we aren’t aware of an outage, please call us. Water outages are treated as a priority, and we may need more information.

Don’t run your water using appliances during an outage
During an outage, avoid using appliances that require water, such as evaporative air conditioners, dishwashers, and washing machines.
If you have an electric hot water system, it’s recommended to turn it off at the power supply.
Commercial machinery and appliances
If your business relies on water-dependent machinery, we recommend turning these off during the interruption. If you have a backup water tank, ensure its capacity will meet your water supply needs before using it.
