Aṉangu Water Wisdom

The lands and waterways of the Aṉangu Pitjantjatjara Yankunytjatjara have supported life for many thousands of years. SA Water takes great pride in continuing to work with communities to provide clean, safe drinking water and supporting life on country

Aṉangu Water Wisdom is an education program developed for and with the APY community. Through this program, students and teachers are invited to investigate their water network, including water treatment and distribution, connect with traditional water knowledge, and become advocates for their precious natural resources.

Aṉangu Water Wisdom

Aimed at middle and upper Primary levels, the program is non-prescriptive and adaptable, so can be integrated into other learning areas and year levels. We understand that each school context and community water story is unique. We encourage you to take the program and make it your own, tailoring it to suit your specific needs, while inviting us to walk side by side in your journey.
