Applying for a Position

If you decide that you would like to apply for a position, you will need to write a job application / cover letter and attach your resume, unless otherwise stated in the job advertisement. The length of the application letter should be no longer than 2 pages. This is the maximum, and in reality applications should be kept to 1 or 1½ pages long. You do not need to address each individual competency, skill or area of technical knowledge. Your letter should demonstrate your understanding of the position responsibility and explain how your experience will allow you to function in the role and are able to meet the core competencies, using the technical skills and knowledge as a guide.

A copy of the Position Description can be obtained from the Recruitment Consultant named on the job advertisement.

Forward your application through the SA Water Job Search page and make sure it is before the closing date.

Existing Applications Progress

You can check on the progress of your application through the "Existing applicant sign-in". At any time, you may access your account to update, make new applications, activate or deactivate your registration for job mail.
